Christmas in Strasbourg

The Christkindelsmärik in Strasbourg is one of the oldest Christmas markets in the world. Since 1570, craftsmen and traders have gathered in chalets around the cathedral, inviting you to experience the Christmas traditions of times gone-by. The Christmas market starts on the first weekend of Advent (last weekend of November) and ends on 24 December. It is extended until the end of December around the cathedral.
