Place du Château and its museums

Hotel Cathédrale is ideally located opposite the Cathedral on one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, just a few metres from the Place du Château, which houses several of Strasbourg’s most emblematic museums: the Œuvre Notre-Dame museum, the Palais Rohan (archaeological museum, fine arts museum, decorative arts museum) and the Cabinet des Estampes.

From the place du château, you can also access the cathedral platform (66 metres – 330 steps) and enjoy an exceptional view over Strasbourg, the foothills of the Vosges and the Black Forest.
